Candlemas marks the half-way point between winter solstice and the spring equinox. Yesterday, the children entered a candle-lit hallway with a beautiful display by Mr. Kane. These moments keep us awake to the natural world around us. The seasonal festivals at Waldorf schools provide nourishment for the soul and develop an awareness of the natural cycles of our planet.
